Our Festival site is less than one mile from Thame town centre.  Thame is on a main bus route from AYLESBURY TO OXFORD.  The same bus picks up at Thame and Haddenham Parkway rail station which is on the London to Birmingham main line.  When you arrive in THAME it is just a 20 minute walk to the Festival Site.  Follow the signs.Leave your car at home or if your car is really needed share your trip with another traveller.  See www.liftshare.comIf you do drive, set out early, drive economically and by the shortest route.  When you arrive at Towersey Festival Site – Park your car for FREE and leave it there until it is time to pack up and go home.  Shops are on site and if you need more, Thame is a short walk away!Whatever you choose we look forward to seeing you at a sustainable Towersey.

By Car

Wherever possible it would be great if you could hook up with some others coming to Towersey and share cars.  Check out LiftShare for how to sort it.

The Festival Site address for satnavs is Thame Showground, Oxon, OX9 3JL (Please do not send correspondence to this address, it is an empty field for most of the year!)

Drivers could use the A418 from Aylesbury, the A40 & A418 from Oxford or the M40.  If you are travelling from the north Junction 8a is best.  If you are travelling from the south Junction 5 is best.  That should get you to the Festival.  If not, ring 01629 827016 and we’ll direct you!  As you approach you will pick up yellow directions signs for "Towersey Festival".  Please follow the signs directing you to the appropriate gate.

By Train

The nearest railway stations are Princes Risborough or Haddenham & Thame Parkway on the London Marylebone line to Birmingham.  Then a quick Taxi (3 miles) or jump on the regular bus service to Thame.
